“ I love the prime rib special and the cream of crab . The atmosphere does need a upgrade but the staff is nice and attentive ”
“ Recommended by a buddy I took my sister and niece to check it out. Small quaint spot with friendly staff waiting to welcome us in. I ordered lamb chops and wasn't disappointed. My Sis had flounder with crab meat and my niece had the parmesan spaghetti and they both kept talking about what to order on their next visit! Looking forward to the time! It took the food a close to 30 minutes. Otherwise I would rate this 5 stars ”
“ Love this restaurant....I have been going here for many years. Decor has not changed but neither has the great food and service. ”
“ Best crab cakes in Baltimore. All the food is outstanding. Service is great . The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. The decor is a little dated . One of my favorite places to eat. ”
“ Restaurant Week 2022 is upon us, and my wife and I were looking for the usual suspects where we can get great value for what we were paying; we stumbled upon Michael's. Upon entering, it was as if my wife and I went into a time machine as the place looked like it was a step back in time; I even had to make a call for a reservation. We had made our selections for Restaurant Week, including a Chesapeake Dirty for my wife and a House Salad for myself. Our server looked like she had been at the same place since it opened, so we knew we were in for a real treat. However, the server brought two cups of Dirty to our table, and I told her that I had the salad, and she said you keep that, and I'll bring your salad. Both of us got the 1 lb NY strip with the imperial, and we can't say that we were disappointed, the imperial was super meaty, and the steak was cooked right. I had the steak fries, which were not overwhelming and quite tasty, and the brussels sprouts; well, they are like the one's mom used to feed you and not the ones served now. For dessert, I thought I was going to get something unique as a baklava sundae; it is not; it is baklava with a la mode, but it still did the trick. The atmosphere is very familial; the bartenders get to know their regulars and know exactly what they want. They also take pride in Baltimore sports, as over half the conversation was dedicated to O's baseball. My take, come for Restaurant Week, you're paying for just the steak topped with the imperial every other food item is a nice extra; outside of RW, get the Imperial, which is worth the extra few dollars. ”
